The Bangabandhu National Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Dhaka city of Bangladesh.

Bangabandhu National Stadium built in 1954 and also known as Dhaka Stadium it is located in the Motijheel area in the heart of the city and formerly known as Dacca Stadium is the national stadium and a multipurpose sports arena in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Bangabandhu National Stadium is the national stadium and main sports arena in Dhaka. The Stadium had a capacity of close to 55,000 before the work of renovation, making it then the largest stadium of the country. After the renovation, it still remains the largest stadium in Bangladesh. Its current name was given to honour Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the nation, also known as Bangabandhu or Friend of Bengal.

This is the stadium used for the 2009 South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championship in December and the main stadium for the 2010 South Asian Federation (SAF) Games (23 sports incuding athletics). This will also be the venue that hosts the opening ceremony of the 2011 Cricket World Cup. The Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka is the only venue in the world to have hosted an inaugural home fixture for two Test nations. India were the visitors on both occasions: in 1954-55, when Dacca (sic) was the capital of East Pakistan, and 46 years later, when Bangladesh became the tenth nation to attain Test status. Situated in the throbbing heart of Dhaka, the Bangabandhu and the nearby National Hockey Stadium are so incorporated into the daily hustle and bustle of Bangladeshi life that it is hard to tell from the outside that they are in fact sporting venues, especially given the plethora of electrical goods stalls that have sprung up all around the concourse. With a purpose-built cricket stadium being constructed on the outskirts of the city, the ground was taken out of commission at the end of the 2004-05 season, and handed over for the sole use of the national football squad.

The stadium has rich history for hosting number of historic sports event starting from Cricket, Football, Hockey to Boxing. In 1978, the boxing legend Muhammad Ali played a boxing match at this stadium, the then Dacca Stadium, with a 12-year-old Bengali boy. Recently on September 6, 2009 Bangabandhu National Stadium hosted a historical international friendly football match between Argentina and Nigeria, featuring the then record FIFA Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi, a milestone for football in the country. Currently, the stadium is used for football and athletics. Total seating capacity is about 36,000. It was also home to the Bangladeshi cricket team until 1 March 2005. On the 6 September 2011, The stadium is located next to National Hockey Stadium. The stadium was used for competitions of the 2010 South Asian Games, including football and athletics.

Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium / Mirpur Stadium:

Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium is very large and nice Stadium in capital of Bangladesh and communication system to visit this Stadium is very easy to anywhere in Dhaka.  Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium is home to majority of Bangladesh's First class, Test, ODI, Twenty20 and Women's cricket matches. The Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium, named after AK Fazlul Haque, one of the country's most renowned leaders and freedom fighters in the 1940s. Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) local name Mirpur Stadium is a cricket ground in Bangladesh, located in Mirpur Dhaka, 10 kilometres away from the city centre. It holds 42,000 people and was built in 2006. At first, it was named Mirpur Stadium, but the Bangladeshi government later renamed it to Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. In 2006 the home-of-cricket of Bangladesh was shifted to SBNS from Bangabandhu National Stadium.

Khulna Stadium / Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna:

Khulna Stadium is one of the large stadium in total Khulna division and It also a nice place of Khulna City. Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium previously known as Bir Shrestha Shahid Flight Lieutenant Motiur Rahman Stadium is a cricket venue in Khulna division, Bangladesh. The stadium holds 15,000 peoples and opened in 2004. The ground hosted its first Test match from 21–25 November 2012 where Bangladesh played against the West Indies. The first ODI between Bangladesh and Kenya took place on 20 March 2006. 

Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium- Chittagong

Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium is one of the important Stadium of Chittagong. Most of the cricket, football and others games good arranging place in this Stadium. Location and communication has very well.  Currently, it is the main cricket venue of the port city. Previously, the MA Aziz Stadium was the main cricket venue of Chittagong, however now it focuses on football. Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium previously known as Bir Shrestha Shahid Ruhul Amin Stadium is a cricket stadium located in the port city of Chittagong in south-eastern Bangladesh. It became a Test cricket venue on February 27, 2006 when it hosted a Test match between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. It hosted two group matches of the 2011 Cricket World Cup. Now it has seating capacity Approximately 20,000 of Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium Chittagong.

M. A. Aziz Stadium- Chittagong

M. A. Aziz Stadium of Chittagong is a historical note; this stadium was used as headquarters during the war for independence in 1971. M. A. Aziz Stadium also known as Chittagong Stadium is a multipurpose stadium in Chittagong of Bangladesh. The local cricket and football teams play there. Now it has seating capacity Approximately 30,000. The main cricket venue of the port city has been shifted to the Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium- Chittagong.

Shaheed Chandu Stadium- Bogra

Shaheed Chandu Stadium but local name is Bogra Stadium, previously known as Bogra Divisional Stadium, is a stadium located in northwestern side of Bogra district in Bangladesh. A nice swimming pool and a beautiful theme park are in front of it. Its pitch and ground is very suitable to play all kind of cricket games. It became a Test cricket venue on 8 March 2006, when it hosted a Test match between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Now it has seating capacity Approximately 20,000. It is also hosting of domestic cricket.

Fatullah Osmani Stadium- Narayanganj

Narayanganj Osmani Stadium is one of the large cricket grounds in Bangladesh and located in Narayanganj. Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium is a cricket stadium located in Fatullah, Narayanganj in central Bangladesh. Now it has seating capacity Approximately 20,000 peoples at a time. It is important that the stadium offers a clear view so that the audience can have a great experience. The stadium was established in the year 2006 with the first ODI match being played in March 2006. Narayanganj Osmani Stadium is also a football stadium located about 600 meters away from Chashara Bus Stand in Narayanganj Sadar Upazilla.
